Daktela - Notice history

Our carriers have informed us that they are carrying out core network infrastructure improvements within our London region.

The impact of this work is that downtime of up to 45 minutes may be experienced, however as it is happening out of hours, only a small numbers of customers may be affected by this maintenance. We have individually contacted customers impacted by this work. If you have not been contacted, you do not need to worry about this.

Dear customers.

We would like to inform you that on 11th July 2022 between 23:59-06:00 CEST (22:59-05:00 BST) our voice partner for UK & Ireland will be carrying out maintenance on the telecommunications infrastructure. We are assured this is a low-risk operation. No interruption to services is expected. There are resilient firewalls and they failover seamlessly. Services are deemed "at risk" as this work is taking place on traffic carrying devices.

Please be advised that emergency maintenance will be undertaken at our data centres on the Gamma IP network infrastructure: 7th July 23:55 - 01:30 GMT 8th July.

The purpose of these emergency works is for routing configuration to be reverted, to mitigate potential disturbances caused by brief core network blips.

Services affected: Gamma IP Network.

Customer Risk statement: There will be two sub 10 second interruptions on the network, no interruption to services is expected, but there is a risk to connectivity during these interruptions.

All services are resilient and there are alternative paths into Gamma.
