    Statement on the outage of 25.11.2021 13:09 - 14:00 CET

    On Thursday, November 25 at 13:09 CET, we noticed an increase in malicious traffic to our servers. Due to this increase, our services begun to deteriorate, so together with our partner we analysed the problem for a suspected DDoS attack. We then started to block the suspected traffic and took immediate action on the elements of core network that were affected. At 14:00 CET, our systems were restored to full capacity.

    Upon analysing the problem, we found that the short-term surge in traffic caused unexpected behaviour within our core network, which in turn caused an overload that consequently degraded the response within the Daktela system.

Dear Customer,

Our voice service partner has scheduled regular maintenance in the Manchester Region on Wednesday 24th of November, starting at 9:00 PM, and lasting an estimated period of 3 hours.

This work requires the powering down of devices, causing momentary interruptions to service lasting no longer than 10 minutes. The partners engineering team will make every effort to minimize any disruption to service.

We are currently experiencing partial outage of incoming calls originated in DialTelecom network. We are investigating the cause, for status update check https://status.daktela.com.

Dear customers,

we would like to inform you about planned essential maintenance and upgrade works being undertaken at our datacentre TTC in the CZ by its service provider on Saturday 21st of August, starting at 02:00 AM, and ending on the 21st of August at 04:00 AM (GMT+2, 24-hour time format) (~two hours window).

The works to be carried out in this window, will include the firmware upgrade of the core equipment estimated for 30 minutes. This is a necessary action that will ensure ongoing high-quality service delivery to all customers.

Please treat this window as 'at risk', though it is considered a low-risk operation with no impact on customer services as this is now the backup datacentre.

You will receive a notification via email with more information where necessary.
